Living Well wurde von erfahrenen Psychoonkolog*innen und Psychotherapeut*innen entwickelt, basierend auf anerkannten psychotherapeutischen Ansätzen in der Psychoonkologie. Die unten aufgeführten Quellen wurden zur Erstellung der App verwendet.

Um sicherzustellen, dass ein hoher wissenschaftlicher Standard eingehalten wird, sind die Inhalte von unseren Produkten auf den Prinzipien der kognitiven Verhaltenstherapie (KVT) aufgebaut. Die Effektivität dieser Methode wurde bereits durch eine Vielzahl von Studien bestätigt. Diese anerkannte wissenschaftliche Methode setzt die aktive Beteiligung des*der Patient*in voraus und gilt daher auch als eine Form der Selbsthilfe. Aufgrund der praktischen Ausrichtung der Verhaltenstherapie, die sich auf Ziele und Lösungen konzentriert, lassen sich oft schon nach kurzer Zeit Erfolge erzielen. Dies ist einer der Gründe, warum die Verhaltenstherapie eine der am häufigsten eingesetzten Therapieformen in der Psychoonkologie ist.
